Macomb Township Water Damage Repair

Here is a look at a recent Macomb Township water damage insurance claim repair due to a busted dishwasher drain line under the kitchen sink. We replaced the flooring in the kitchen, dining room, foyer, and sitting area as you can see in the pictures below. The new flooring brings out the homes natural light and adds brightness to the space.

Shelby Twp MI Wind/Water Repair to Soffit, Fascia and Gutter

These are before and afters of a wind/water damage repair made to an over hang.  The over hang had to be rebuilt because wind damaged the shingles and allowed water to make its way through the sheeting into the overhang.  This went on for some time and ended up rotting out the soffit structure and fascia boards in the area.  We were able to build off of the original structure to make the needed repairs as seen in the first picture.

This project consisted of the cleanup and extraction of water caused by a busted hotwater tank water line.  The water made its way into the master closet, master bedroom, hallway and the homes ductwork in the homes crawlspace.  Once we had extracted any standing water we then cleared the compromised area of furniture and house hold items.  After all needed items were moved we then cut out the wet carpet and pad, then place a dehumidifier and air movers in the rooms to remove any additional moisture in the floor and walls.  On this project we also had to drill drying holes in the base of the walls to aid in the drying of the inside wall cavities.  Here are a few pictures of the drying equipment we set up.

We were able to help this homeowner out when water overflowed the kitchen sink causing damage to the cabinets and floors.  This project included extracting the standing water on the floors then using floor fans to dryout the remaining moisture in the walls.  The attached photos are moisture readings at there highest precentage to there lowest percentage.
